Ms. Ariana teaches philosophy, political science, and drama. She has a B.A. from University of Colorado at Denver. She has Montessori experience in the classroom and as a student. She comes to us having worked at Montessori State Academy of Colorado. She also attended Providence Montessori through middle school as well as the Barrie School (a Montessori high school). She has completed two years toward her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She speaks fluent French and enjoys travelling, spending time with her daughter, watching soccer, and walking her two beagles.
Dr. Sydney Lewis
Math, Science, & Agriculture, PHD (Virginia Tech)
Ms. Sydney teaches math, chemistry, and agriculture. She holds a PHD in Nutritional Physiology. She taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Virginia Tech. Ms. Sydney and her soon-to-be husband are newcomers to Lexington, Kentucky. She loves riding her horse and dreaming of starting her own bison farm one day.

Sarah teaches English and Spanish. She holds a MFA in Fiction from VCU and a MA in Anthropology from GMU. She also holds a professional certificate in multi-track diplomacy from the University of Maryland. Formerly, she worked on sexual violence prevention at Centre College. She has worked as a Research & Policy Manager at OneAmerica, Legislative Strategist with We Belong Together, as well as a consultant at organizations like National Immigration Forum and Migration Policy Institute. Her fiction has appeared in Nimrod. She recently won the Pen/Dau Prize for Short Fiction. She enjoys travelling, playing and coaching soccer, and spending time at her family’s cabin in the Kentucky woods. Her two young kiddos are a joy.

Ms. Alex teaches Biology. She has a Master’s in biology from the University of Kentucky. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Previously, she taught Biology at Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky.
